HARVEST FOR HUNGER 2024

HARVEST FOR HUNGER 2024 : A COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE

FOOD DRIVE DETAILS

The food drive will be happening at grocery stores all around the city on October 10, 11 and 12. We’re making it easy for everyone to contribute. While you’re doing your regular shopping, consider picking up a few extra items to donate. Every little bit helps!

MOST NEEDED ITEMS

We gratefully accept food and monetary donations. The top most needed food items include canned veggies, canned meat, canned fruits, pork & beans, cereal, soup, baby food, baby formula, and 100% fruit juice. These non-perishable items can go a long way in providing nutritious meals for families in need.

HOW TO DONATE

Donating is easy! Simply purchase the items you wish to donate and drop them off at the designated donation areas in participating grocery stores. For those who want to contribute but are unable to make it to the store, you can also make a monetary donation online.

STAMP OUT HUNGER

Stamp Out Hunger 2024

Stamp Out Hunger is back again this year, thanks to our wonderful partners who are dedicated to this important cause of collecting food items for donation to the RFDA. The event will take place on Saturday, May 11th. If you miss the collection on that day, you can still participate by placing your donations outside your door on Monday, May 13th, by 9 am.

The most desired donation items include canned meat, vegetables, soup, pasta, peanut butter, baby food, cereal, and more. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated as they allow us to purchase fresh food and other essentials.

We sincerely appreciate all the efforts put into this initiative to support the less fortunate in our community. The collected food donations will greatly assist the RFDA in its ongoing efforts to fight hunger and provide resources to plan our food bank inventory year-round.  Thank you once again for investing in your community and supporting local charities. It would be challenging to operate without the generous support we receive from our partners, sponsors, and donors
